About Shiloh, IL - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

The Midwestern state of Illinois is home to the quaint Village of Shiloh that lies in St. Clair County. With a population of 12,651 people, Shiloh is positioned on a total area of 11.04 square miles of land. Shiloh grew in size after the Shiloh Meeting House, a United Methodist Church, was built on the area and gave the name to the village. Despite having a smaller population than its surrounding cities and towns, the lively residents of Shiloh make it a genuinely engaging experience for visitors and newcomers alike.

Of all the annual festivities, it’s surely the Shiloh Homecoming Picnic that gets the most attention every year. The two-day carnival is held at the Shiloh Community Park and attracts attendees from surrounding towns to have a go at the cultural celebrations. Food stalls, games and rides are the main attraction of the event, along with live entertainment and music. The highlight, however, is the display of fireworks that is held at the closing.

With four parks, residents of the village indulge in a variety of recreational activities. For sport-related activities, the Three Springs Park is the place to go because of its football fields, and courts for basketball and volleyball.

For the walking enthusiasts, the Shiloh Community Park has a long walking trail, as well as many picnic areas and pavilions to host outdoor events. Despite the relatively small area, one would be surprised to know that Shiloh also houses a golf course and many bikeways.

Moreover, the Shiloh Dog Park would be the best place to take your canine companion for a walk and to interact with other dogs. Once you’ve had your fair share of exploring the village, you can interact with the friendly locals over delicious local cuisine. With a number of eateries to select from, Shiloh promises a culturally diverse dining experience.
